Step into the wild pulse of Ecuador—a journey through cloud-draped paramo, ancient mountains, and forest valleys teeming with life. Join mycologists Alan Rockefeller and Mandie Quark, alongside renowned botanist Joey Santore and local herpetologist Alex Bentley for an immersive exploration where every step reveals something extraordinary: glowing fungi under mossy canopies, orchids clinging to misty cliffs, frogs and serpents flashing color in the rain-drenched dark.

Peru Cloud Forest Foray
Oxapampa
Join an immersive expedition to the last remaining untouched cloud forests in the central jungles of Peru. Explore a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve bursting with rare fungi, orchids, birds, and other hidden species. Centered around an eco-resort at the jungle’s edge, the trip features time with mycologists undertaking a biodiversity survey, and a weekend-long mushroom festival where locals will be happy to mingle.
Days will be filled with mossy trails, waterfalls, and primary forests, while evenings will bring shared meals, talks, and photo swaps with an enthusiastic crew of scientists and fellow nature nerds.

High Elevation Foray Costa Rica

This will be an intimate adventure into pristine cloud forests, oak woodlands, and high-elevation páramo habitats that are teeming with rare fungi, orchids, and endemic species.
Daily itineraries will blend field studies with photography workshops, taxonomic discussions, and relaxed evenings at a remote lodge. Through this adventure we are enabling small groups of passionate naturalists to document rare species, contribute to citizen science databases, and immerse in the Talamanca's dramatic landscapes, from moss-draped ridges to misty valleys.
